Buds went out of the ditch in portage and trolled the mouth to west beach. Three hours later 10 for 10 on anything orange/red. 9 stocker steelies 6-9 pounds and one 14 pound king in 25ft of water. The offshore winds on the bottom end of the lake have provided cool water for the skamania staging at the mouth along with a plethora of bait which has brought the kings in as well with the cooler water temps. I am positive if you were to drege streamers of the rocks at the mouth you would run into chrome at some point.

So as the story goes we hike 11.5 miles up to crescent lake in AK and of course pay a float plane to bring us 5 cases of beer,rib eyes, and a five liter wine box. The wine goes fast and I think to myself that this would make a great pillow while sleeping in the bivy. Blow it up with air close the valve...perfect pillow for 2 nights and I packed it out to use on the rest of the trip. Go up to St. joe for the July 4th weekend and I see my bro inlaw uses the same bag to freeze water for block ice for the cooler. Worked great as you can pretty much form it to any shape and freeze it. My two cents but you must drink wine first.

In less than a week the family and I are going back... should be a trip to remember!! I'll try t get updates when we go into West or Jackson.

Got one for my birthday!! Had Ice on Friday afternoon (one Large bag)had to empty ice out yesterday after work. Expensive but worth the money. Also was a great casting platform on the drift boat...
